Let me Out of this Book

Tradução em inglês do livro “Tirem-me Deste Livro”, cuja edição em português faz parte do Plano Regional de Leitura – Ler Açores.

Whether we’re alone in the living room, surrounded by people in a bar, or simply lying in bed next to the person that, with time, we’ve grown accustomed to calling our better half, we’ve all questioned our reality. Is there someone behind the curtain, some obscure entity controlling the machines? Who’s the jackass that engineered my life? From what five-and-dime store did everyone around me come from? And how about me: would I have to be invented if I didn’t exist? What would we do if we incidentally found out the truth?
